Deborah Owens is a true powerhouse and her mission to help women overcome their fear of investing has not gone unnoticed! Ryan has curated a wealth and investment career spanning 17 years.  Before joining Carrick Investment Services as a Private Wealth manager specializing in assisting African Executives and Entrepreneurs with accessing the global investment landscape and focused investment inclusion, Ryan spent most of his career in equity trading and stockbroking portfolio management with two of South Africa’s largest investment and private advisory banks.  A dedicated family man, Ryan is keen on assisting fellow African residents craft a truly international future for themselves and their wider families.

Esther started off her career as a software developer where she was involved in the design, analysis, and development of several management systems.   She later joined ICEA LION Asset Management in 2007, tasked with enhancing client services and ensuring data integrity. In 2010 she went on to become an equity and fixed-income dealer for the Insurance Business and went on to become the Portfolio Manager in charge of the insurance investments. She is currently a Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for investment management for Institutional Clients and Unit Trust funds. Esther is a member of the ICEA LION Investment Committee participating in asset allocation and security selection decision-making. At an industry level, she is a member of a working group for the Capital Markets Master Plan at CMA and also a member of the FMA CIS committee.  Esther holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) degree from the University of Nairobi and she is also a CFA level 2 candidate.
